Ms. Ritchie holds a bachelor's degree in the Biological Sciences from Auburn
University with an emphasis in the marine sciences. A current emphasis of her
work involves field sampling and analysis, and field studies related to
phtyoremediation of heavy metals. She also has professional experience in
the deployment of biomedical devices for prevention of human health problems. Her
primary responsibilities at the IICER involve providing technical liaison among Florida
State University, the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas in Katowice, Poland,
the Technical University of Budapest and DOE site personnel (e.g., Savannah River site
and Oak Ridge site).
