Mr. Moreau has over 23 years of experience in solid and hazardous waste management with both the
public and private sectors. He currently serves as associate director for the SWIX where he
is responsible for program development, grants and workshop development and management, and
providing technical assistance to the waste management and recycling industry.
Mr. Moreau has served as an officer and solid waste management/recycling technical assistance
expert for an international environmental consulting firm, was project director for a municipal
waste-to-energy project, reviewed and approved local government resource recovery and management
plans, and was a staff member in the Florida Legislature. He served as a board member of
the Florida Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America, and he currently serves as
a board member of Recycle Florida Today. Mr. Moreau has also been an Adjunct
Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at Florida State University.
