Mr. Gray has a diverse professional background with years of experience in the environmental engineering field
including managing externally-funded research programs, and international programs involving research, development
and deployment of new remedial technologies for environmental contamination. Prior to working at the Florida State University, Mr. Gray worked in the private sector for a private environmental consulting firm as an environmental engineer. Mr. Gray has designed and operated remedial systems for soil and groundwater contaminated with LNAPL and DNAPL and has prepared and obtained permits needed for installation and operation of these remediation systems. The experience gained by Mr. Gray as a consulting environmental engineer has been extremely valuable to the many activities conducted by the IICER in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, NASA, the U.S. Air Force and other organizations.
